Benefits advice on social media - Please be aware
Please be aware that there have been recent reports of advice and guidance pages popping up on social media such as Facebook offering advice on subjects like Universal Credit and other benefits.
These groups are providing information in regards to Financial Support, however these accounts can be independent / “armchair” advisors and or accounts and so the information provided, may not be genuine or trustworthy.
If anyone notices any advice on social media in this regard, it would be a good habit to check with their Job Centre or GOV.UK website, if this is valid advice, before acting on or taking any
action, which could potentially have unknown consequences.
Finance Trustee Opportunity - Suffolk User Forum
Would you like to make a real difference in the lives of people using mental health services in East and West Suffolk?
Suffolk User Forum is a friendly, independent charity dedicated to empowering people who use mental health services. We are looking to add new voices to our board of trustees. We welcome applications from people who use mental health services, their families who care for them, and individuals with a genuine passion for improving these services.
We specifically need a Finance Trustee but would love to hear from people with experience in leadership, diversity and inclusion, information governance, HR, and fundraising.
