This year our garden competition was judged by celebrity gardener Paul Davis aka “The Garden Warrior”.
Paul was very impressed with all the lovely gardens entered into the competition as well as all the effort made to make Orwell communities bright and vibrant places to live. Having virtually judged the competition Paul is going to personally visit and present certificates and vouchers to first prize winners.
The winner of our new category “Gardener of the Year” went to Karen Randall from Ipswich for all her work on the community garden where she lives. A few years ago, she initiated the development of the garden, encouraging others to get involved in what has become a great resource for her community.
