Christmas Balloon Race | Ormiston families

The team over at Ormiston Families are hosting a Christmas Balloon Race in support of their Breaking Barriers Winter Appeal. If you haven’t come across Ormiston families before, the team work in the East of England to take early and preventative action to create safe, healthy and resilient families. For the race, you can design your own balloon and watch it race as it kicks off on 12pm on 25th December, all for a small donation. Plus there are some great prizes for the winners.

This week, we’d love to share some kind words for Megan Baldry who works in one of our Learning Disabilities schemes.

“A relative of one of our residents called to praise Megan and how she handled a very difficult situation at work, with another resident being ill and rushed to hospital in a distressing situation, and at the same time looking after all the other residents and less experienced staff. Megan was very professional, calm and efficient”.
