Wednesday 31st May 2023
Suffolk Libraries have some great, free, half term activities planned.
You can head to Gainsborough Community Library in Ipswich for a free Lego afternoon. This is from tomorrow, Thursday 1st June between 2 and 4. Gainsborough are also doing a messy clay creations session at the same time on Friday so why not pop along and join in the fun!
If you are local to Framlingham, why not head to the library and meet Ziggy the therapy dog! Ziggy loves to be read stories and is registered with Pets as Therapy. He loves to listen to children read out loud, while their adults browse or read the paper nearby. This session is aimed for primary school aged children who want to build their confidence in reading aloud in a relaxed environment. Reading to therapy dogs is a great way to boost reading skills and encourage positive wellbeing.
This event takes place between 3:15PM and 4:15PM every Thursday including this week, 1st June, and is free to attend.
There are more free activities going on in libraries across the County so visit the website linked in the comments to find what's going on near where you live.

Become a Digital Champion in your community.
If you have a few hours to spare and are interested in supporting individuals or groups to build confidence and knowledge using digital technology, Communities Together East Anglia would love to hear from you. They are looking for volunteers to become Digital Champions. Helping people develop digital skills will help to remove barriers and address loneliness. You also get to improve your own digital skills and experience too. If this sounds like something you might like to do, you can find out more using the link in comments below:

Have you tried our app yet?
The Orwell Housing app is now available to download from The Google Play Store (Android phones) and The App Store (IOS, Apple Phones). Just search for 'Orwell Housing'. We’ve had positive feedback about its speed and how easy it is to use. On downloading and logging in, the app gives you instant access to your account so that you can manage your tenancy and services at anytime. It also enables you to request or report a repair, check your balance and statements, pay your rent, browse information and a whole lot more. You can find some frequently asked questions at the link below and any problems using the app should be directed to our Customer Services Team in the usual way.
