Hi there and welcome to This Week at Orwell. This is your five-minute video newsletter sharing stories from around the Orwell community this last week.
Impact of Fly-tipping
In the current climate, every penny counts, and we always want to ensure that our customers are spending where it has the most value and impact.
Unfortunately our teams are sometime greeted by unsolicited household or bulky waste on our estates and this means that the clean up has to be charged back to our customers year on year.
So today, we ask that customers dispose of their waste, ensuring that it is bagged and left in their allocated bins, taken to a local recycling centre or arranged for pick up by their local council.
A considerate approach to disposal will always lead to a more healthy, safer environment for us all to enjoy, whilst allowing us to direct that money into areas which will really make a difference. Let’s leave our communities how we would like to find them.
