Hi there and welcome to This Week at Orwell. Recently we received feedback from our ORG (Orwell Residents Group), around what they thought about the newsletter format and if there's anything else that we could do to improve that. We decided to provide this news update through video. So, with that in mind, here is a recap of news stories around the Orwell community this week.
'Geek Retreat' Ipswich - Family Activities This Week
We've heard great things about the schedule of family activities that Geek Retreat have been
running over Easter and which are continuing this week. With Parent & Baby mornings,
Pokemon gaming and so much more, it's definitely worth a look.
Covid Jabs - Spring Booster
People aged 75 years and older, residents in care homes for older people, and those aged 5 years and over with a weakened immune system will be offered a booster of coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine this spring. There is no need to book as this will be a 'Walk in' service.
Disposing of bulky items
In order to keep our communities clean and safe, we wanted to remind our customers that any unwanted bulky items should be taken to your local refuse centre or a pickup arranged with your local council and not left with your usual domestic waste.

The Rural Coffee Caravan - Lidgate Village Hall
The Rural Coffee Caravan will be on the road this week, visiting Lidgate Village Hall on Friday
(14th). If you would like to get involved and meet new people over a coffee, you'll find all the
details below as well as a link to our recent podcast with the founder.
