We are launching a campaign to attract caring, compassionate people to join our team with the message that ‘We’re all about the people, are you?’.
The campaign is being launched with the release of a lively, fun and colourful film showing employees, and tenants who live in Orwell properties putting into words how much they value the support they get, and the difference it makes to them, every single day.
As well as those already working in the care environment, we are asking people who may have found themselves considering a change in direction, to come and join our team.
The unique aspect of the recruitment drive is that people don’t need experience or qualifications in the care sector, but need to demonstrate a caring nature, with a drive and passion to help other people and make a real difference to their lives. It is a great opportunity to build a career with fantastic training and support. Anyone who registers their interest in a role will automatically be invited to an interview at an open day, where they will meet some of the Orwell team, and our tenants.
During the pandemic many people found themselves caring for others, supporting friends and neighbours and really looking out for each other showing real concern and support for those around them. It is this caring nature that we are hoping to harness in our new recruitment drive.
Many people have also taken time to pause and re-evaluate aspects of their lives, for many this includes their work and careers, with people considering more meaningful and satisfying options. We have the perfect opportunity for anyone wishing to enhance their job satisfaction or wanting to really make a difference to the lives of those needing care and support.
Our Supported Housing and Care manager, Andrew Regent said: “We’re not asking people to come to us fully trained or qualified, as full training and support will be provided. We only ask that people share our ethos and values to provide a quality service to our tenants, and can show that they have a caring spirit and a desire to help others. In return they will be part of our fantastic team and have real opportunities and support to develop and progress their career with us”.
