We’re delighted to announce that we have been granted planning approval to deliver 15 new affordable homes for local people in Ipswich.
Permission to transform a former derelict retail until was granted today for the affordable and shared ownership homes to be built in Prince of Wales Drive in Ipswich.
The development will see the provision of 11 two storey houses and four flats, which will offer new accommodation to local families.
Orwell’s assistant director of development, Greg Dodds said: “The affordable housing demands in the town are high, and housing associations are part of that solution. This development is a significant contribution towards addressing the housing shortfall locally.”
Work is expected to begin on site later this year.
Should you be interested in the shared ownership homes planned, please contact Karen Suddes, our senior home ownership officer on karen.suddes@orwell-housing.co.uk who can provide further information.
