We have had several more reports about phishing phone calls targeting Orwell tenants. If you or anyone you know receive a call from someone claiming to work for Orwell, please do not give out any personal information. No matter how small you think the details are. We would never need you to verify this information on a phone call. Especially in an unannounced call.

Some of the questions tenants have been asked are below...

• Do you need new windows and doors fitted?
• How many bedrooms do you have?
• Do you live alone?
• Statements about previous maintenance enquiries?
• Do you live in an Orwell Housing rented property or Privately rent?

If you hear any of these questions and are unsure if the call is real, then please hang up the phone and call us direct. There is no harm in verifying who you are speaking to.
