Rosebank Park, a local provider of extra care services, is delighted to announce it’s been awarded a ‘Good’ rating in the latest inspection conducted by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
The comprehensive inspection conducted by the CQC, an independent regulatory body for health and social care services in England, assessed various aspects of Rosebank Park’s operations. The evaluation encompassed quality of care, safety measures, leadership, responsiveness, and effectiveness of the services provided. The scheme has been awarded a ‘Good’ rating in all areas.
In 2022, Orwell Housing Association took over the running of and became the landlord and care provider for Rosebank Park. Responsibility for both the care services and housing management of these properties transferred to Orwell.
The inspection report stated the Rosebank Park team showed a culture of supporting people to keep their independence and build up their confidence. This reflected in the positive feedback inspectors received from people, relatives and social care professionals who noted the improvements they had seen in people's confidence and abilities.
Customers told inspectors that they never felt rushed during their care visit, that staff respected their home and listened and acted on what they said. If they had any concerns, people felt comfortable to raise them with members of the management team direct.
Hayley Cheshire, Older Person Operational Manager for Orwell Housing Association, expressed appreciation for the entire team's hard work and dedication. They remarked,
“We are very pleased to receive a 'Good' rating from the CQC. This achievement is a testament to the efforts of our staff who consistently put our customers first and offer them exceptional care and support. We remain committed to providing the best possible service to our customers and will review the contents of the whole report to see where we can learn and improve.
As an extra care scheme, Rosebank Park offers a wide range of accommodation options and care services tailored to the unique needs of older adults. By providing a combination of independent living and on-site care and support, we can ensure residents maintain their autonomy while having peace of mind, knowing that help is readily available when they need it.”
