Following the recent rental change, you may need to update your housing costs through your local authority. This change will take effect on the 1st of January 2025.
The benefit system is changing and the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) will start the process of migrating eligible applicants to apply for Universal Credit. We have created this webpage to help support eligible people and provide guidance through the Universal Credit process and what to expect along the way.
For more information or if you have any concerns about how this may affect you, please contact Danielle Porter, our Welfare Reform Officer, by emailing danielle.porter@orwell-housing.co.uk You can also call Danielle on 01473 228 652.
