Pride and Periods - Suffolk Libraries
The Pride & Periods scheme is here to tackle period poverty and help anyone who needs free menstrual products.
You can request tampons and pads for all flows and preferences, as well as maternity and bladder weakness pads by completing a simple, discreet form in the library and handing it to a member of staff.
Visit the Suffolk Libraries website to find out more about the scheme.

Local Food banks
If you are struggling to buy food, you may be able to get help from a local food bank.
You may need to get a referral through Citizens Advice or from Orwell Housing for some food banks. However, some food banks accept self-referrals.
Please contact your housing officer for more details. They may have specific links to food banks that are not listed below.
Visit Suffolk InfoLink to see the full list of available food banks.
You can also see Suffolk map of Foodbanks below.

The Coffee Caravan
The Rural Coffee Caravan (affectionately know as ‘the Coffee Caravan’) exists to help rurally isolated people in Suffolk access services and information to improve their lives, health and wellbeing, and to bring people together, empowering and strengthening rural communities. We work to alleviate loneliness and social isolation by providing occasions that engender conversations, leading to people feeling more a part of their community. Our service is free and accessible to everyone.
